Sony PVM-6041QM
1×Component (YPbPr) (BNC)
1×Composite (CVBS) (BNC, Mono audio via RCA (connector))
The Sony PVM-6041QM is a 6-inch multistandard Trinitron professional video monitor for the European (AEP) market, built on chassis SCC-F09D-A. It is the smallest member of the 41QM family, sharing its circuit design and 352.5 mm depth with the 9-inch PVM-9041QM in a narrower cabinet.[1]
Resolution is 250 TV lines and frequency response 6.0 MHz (−3.0 dB) at all inputs, with an AFC time constant of 1.0 ms and a fixed D65 colour temperature.[1] Normal scan is 6% overscan with a 3% underscan mode. Linearity is better than 7.0% on both axes, convergence 0.50 mm in the central area and 0.60 mm at the periphery, and high-voltage regulation 3.0%.[1]
Features
The monitor decodes PAL, SECAM, NTSC 3.58 and NTSC 4.43.[1] Its connector panel is more compact than the 9-inch model's: there is a composite VIDEO IN with loop-through, an audio phono input, and three BNCs carrying either analog RGB with sync on green or Y/R-Y/B-Y component, but no Y/C input and no external sync connector.[1] An 8-pin mini-DIN REMOTE connector provides external control.[1]
Power can come from 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz or from 12 V DC via a Sony NP-1A/NP-1B battery pack or an AC-500/AC-500CE adaptor, drawing 40 W either way, which suits the monitor to field use.[1] Audio output level is 0.5 W.[1]
