Samsung GXE1395
2×Composite (CVBS) (RCA (connector), Stereo audio via RCA (connector))
The Samsung GXE1395 is a 13-inch television marketed as a "GXTV" game monitor — a television built specifically around console gaming, with a low-emission burn-resistant tube, gaming picture and sound presets, and a built-in subwoofer.[1]
Its most distinctive feature is a pair of magnetically shielded bass-reflex stereo speaker doors that fold out from the sides of the cabinet for wider stereo separation and fold flat to protect the screen in storage. The doors are infinitely adjustable between 0 and 175 degrees. Each door speaker is rated 3 W and a 15 W subwoofer brings the total to 21 W RMS.[1]
Picture presets are split into a game mode (Standard/Game/Custom) and a TV/video mode (Standard/Sports/Movies/Mild/Custom), and sound offers dedicated "Warzone" and "Roadrace" surround settings alongside Standard/Music/Movies/Speech and a Stadium/Concert surround option.[1] Video enhancing circuitry includes black level expansion, a white peak limiter and high-speed AFC.[1]
The tuner covers VHF 2–13, UHF 14–69 and cable 1–125, up to 181 preset channels, with MTS stereo and dbx noise reduction.[1] Two rear composite inputs allow two consoles to stay connected at once, and a second F-type antenna socket is dedicated to an RF game console on channel 3/4.[1] The set runs from 120 V 60 Hz and measures 400 × 443 × 487 mm with the swivel stand fitted, or 400 × 397 × 487 mm without.[1]
