EveryCRT:Privacy policy

This policy describes what information EveryCRT collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information We Collect
Account Information
To edit the wiki, you must create an account. We collect:
- Username (chosen by you; does not need to be your real name)
- Email address (required for account confirmation)
- Password (stored in hashed form)
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit the wiki, we automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and timestamps
- Referring URL
This information is collected through server logs, cookies, and third-party services described below.
Edit History
All edits to the wiki are publicly logged and permanently associated with your username. This includes the content of your edits, the date and time, and your username. Edit history is public and permanent. Even if content is later removed, it may remain visible in page histories.
Third-Party Services
Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare for security and performance. Cloudflare may collect IP addresses and other connection information. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We use analytics services to understand how visitors use the wiki. These services may collect IP addresses, browser information, and browsing behavior. We currently use Simply Analytics and may add additional providers in the future.
Advertising
We may display third-party advertisements in the future. If we do, those advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. This policy will be updated when advertising is implemented.
Cookies
The wiki uses cookies for:
- Keeping you logged in
- Storing user preferences
- Analytics and performance monitoring
You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may prevent you from logging in or using some features.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Operate and maintain the wiki
- Authenticate users and prevent abuse
- Understand usage patterns and improve the site

Data Retention
- Account information is retained as long as your account exists
- Edit history is retained permanently as part of the wiki's public record
- Server logs are retained indefinitely
- Analytics data is retained according to our analytics providers' policies
Your Rights
All Users

- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account (note: your public edit history will remain but can be attributed to a renamed or anonymized account)

- Right to erasure (subject to limitations for public wiki records)
- Right to restrict processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
Our legal basis for processing your data is legitimate interest (operating a public wiki) and, where you create an account, your consent.

Children
EveryCRT is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
