The ViewSonic A70 is a 17-inch multisync colour computer monitor with a 16.0-inch viewable diagonal.[1]
The tube has a 0.26 mm dot pitch and 90-degree deflection, with ViewSonic's ARAG anti-reflection/anti-glare glass treatment giving a standard light transmission rate of 53%.[1] The default display area is 300 × 225 mm, with a full-scan area of 325 × 243 mm depending on signal timing.[1]
Sync range is 30–70 kHz horizontally and 50–180 Hz vertically. The monitor supports PC resolutions up to 1280 × 1024 and Power Macintosh up to 1024 × 768, with quoted maximum non-interlaced rates of 1280 × 1024 at 66 Hz, 1024 × 768 at 87 Hz, 800 × 600 at 110 Hz and 640 × 480 at 135 Hz.[1]
Features
Video is analog RGB at 0.7 Vp-p into 75 ohms on a 15-pin mini D-sub connector.[1] Power comes through a 3-pin IEC320 inlet at AC 90–132 V or 180–264 V, 50/60 Hz.[1]
The monitor measures 423 × 439 × 426 mm (W × H × D) and weighs 18.0 kg. It carries UL, FCC-B, DOC-B, MPR II, DHHS and Energy Star approvals.[1]
