The RCA F27676BC is a 27-inch colour television from RCA's ColorTrak Plus range, released in 1996 and built by Thomson in Mexico on the CTC187 chassis.[1] Its original list price was $549.[1]
The picture tube is a curved A68ADT27X (also seen as A68ADT27X01) with a slot mask and a single-focus gun, driven through a 68T1DSZ/00 or RXE55398092 yoke. The screen carries a dark tint with a bonded, non-removable glare film.[1]
Connections cover RF, composite video and S-Video with stereo audio.[1] Setup is through on-screen customer controls, with a service menu behind them, and degaussing runs automatically at power-on.[1]
The signal processing is built around a Sanyo LA7610 jungle IC, which is what makes the set a practical RGB-modification target — the chip exposes RGB inputs with fast blanking.[1] A CRK74A2 remote was supplied.[1]
