The JVC DS-124 is a 124-minute D-9 (Digital-S) format videocassette tape, the longest duration in JVC's D-9 cassette lineup. It was listed as a compatible accessory for JVC's W-VHS recorders including the JVC SR-W5U and JVC SR-W7U, as D-9 tapes were recommended as replacements after the original W-VHS tape line was discontinued.
