Overview
The JVC C-2046 is a 20-inch color monitor/receiver built on the FX-Mark II chassis, an improved version of JVC's FX chassis with frequency synthesizer tuning.[1] It carried an MSRP of $499.00.
The C-2046 features a 20-inch Full Square picture tube and a 142-channel frequency synthesizer tuner providing direct cable reception of Mid, Sub-Mid, Super, and Hyper bands.[1] It is MTS/SAP-compatible for stereo and bilingual broadcasting, with MAIN and SAP modes selectable by remote control, and includes built-in left and right channel speakers for stereo audio reception.[1]
The full-function wireless remote control provides 10-key random-access channel selection.[1] A multi-function 3-color on-screen display shows channel number, video and broadcast modes, audio level, and timer settings. The set includes a 3-hour sleep timer adjustable in 10-minute increments and a 12-hour ON timer for automatic on and off switching.[1]
