Description
The For.A FA-300 is a digital time base corrector introduced in March 1987. It was a predecessor to the highly successful FA-310 series, which would go on to sell over 13,000 units.
The FA-300 provided digital time base correction and frame synchronization capabilities for professional video applications. It processed composite video signals and included proc amp controls for video level adjustment.
The FA-300 was part of For.A's expanding line of FA series signal processors, which evolved during the late 1980s to include frame synchronization, clip memory, signal processing, and transcoding capabilities. This work distinguished For.A as a leader in the TBC market.
