The Sony KV-25DXR is a 25-inch Trinitron CRT television released in 1985 for the North American market. It uses the same A64JKJ10X tube found in the professional PVM-2530 monitor, but in a consumer chassis.

Features

The KV-25DXR is visually identical to the KV-25XBR but operates on the P3 chassis. A notable feature is the built-in "Home Management Helper" computer system. The set includes the APM-X3U speaker system and uses digital convergence for alignment.

RGB Input

The KV-25DXR features a proprietary 34-pin multifunction connector that accepts RGB input with support for multiple sync types including CSYNC, separate H/V sync, sync-on-green, sync-over-composite, and sync-on-luma. This connector also provides digital RGB capability for the Home Management Helper computer interface.
