Description
The FOR-A FA-300 is a digital time base corrector introduced in March 1987. Further refinements in FOR-A's quest for versatile, multipurpose TBCs led to smaller, more affordable units. The FA-300 proved popular, reaching a sales volume of approximately 8,800 units.
The FA-300 was a predecessor to the highly successful FA-310 series, which would go on to sell over 13,000 units and become FOR-A's best-selling TBC.
The FA-300 provided digital time base correction and frame synchronization capabilities for professional video applications. It processed composite video signals and included proc amp controls for video level adjustment.
