JVC 3240

Overview

The JVC 3240, part of the Videosphere series, was a black-and-white portable television released around 1970. Designed like an astronaut's space helmet, the Videosphere came in white, black, red, and orange colors. These were very light and surprisingly portable, and could be hung from the ceiling thanks to a chain on the top. The Videosphere used fork connectors for UHF/VHF inputs.
