Overview

The JVC AV-27D800 is a 27" consumer CRT television released in 1999 as part of JVC's popular D-Series line. This is a higher-end D-Series model that uses the early GR2 chassis with the JVC JCC1007A jungle IC, and includes additional features like TV Guide Plus and VCR Plus built-in.

Like other first-generation D-Series models, the AV-27D800 features component video input and uses the RCA A68AEG25X tube, which is considered superior to the later ADT-family tubes, with a flatter curvature and slightly finer dot pitch.
