Description
The JVC AV-27F577 is a 27" real flat CRT television from JVC's I'Art line, released in 2006. It is an SDTV with built-in ATSC/QAM tuner, allowing reception of digital over-the-air and unscrambled digital cable broadcasts alongside standard analog NTSC signals. Despite being a standard-definition set, it displays HD broadcasts downconverted to SD.
The set features a real flat CRT with INVAR-coated shadow mask for improved contrast and brightness. JVC's 3D Y/C Digital Comb Filter uses 10-bit A/D converters to minimize dot crawl and cross-color artifacts. Five video status presets are available: TheaterPro D6500K (film-standard color temperature), Theater, Dynamic, Game, and Standard.
Audio features include Advanced Hyper Surround virtual surround sound and both fixed analog stereo and optical digital audio outputs, the latter capable of passing through Dolby Digital from ATSC broadcasts.
