Like many JVC consumer CRTs, these I'Art models can exhibit intense red-push due to the NTSC color matrix setting. To correct this, the service menu item "NTSC-MAT" can be set to 0, color saturation reduced in the standard menu, and a white balance performed. This fix is well-documented across the JVC lineup and applies to D-Series, I'Art, and other JVC consumer sets using similar chassis designs.[https://retrorgb.com/jvc-d-series-crt-red-color-correction.html] | |||

The JVC AV-32F485 is a 32" flat-screen CRT television from JVC's I'Art series, manufactured in Mexico in 2004. It shares a user manual and chassis design with the JVC AV-27F485 and JVC AV-27F475, and features a Real Flat picture tube with INVAR shadow mask.
The F485 variant distinguishes itself from the JVC AV-32F475 with A.H.S. (Advanced Hyper Surround) sound, offering Music and Movie surround presets in addition to the standard Hyper Surround.
Red Push Correction
Like many JVC consumer CRTs, these I'Art models can exhibit intense red-push due to the NTSC color matrix setting. To correct this, the service menu item "NTSC-MAT" can be set to 0, color saturation reduced in the standard menu, and a white balance performed. This fix is well-documented across the JVC lineup and applies to D-Series, I'Art, and other JVC consumer sets using similar chassis designs.[1]
The AV-32F485 is compatible with the JVC RKC32DF4S TV stand.
