RGB Mod

The JVC AV-27050 is RGB moddable using the OSD mux method. According to the CRT Database, this model supports "RGB modification possible via Mux". The TV uses a Thomson A68ADT25X01 slot mask tube.

Important considerations for RGB modding:

Composite video suffers from horizontal dot artifacts due to the 2-line comb filter
Default sharpness setting causes ringing and should be adjusted
Picture settings must be saved as "Choice" to retain adjustments
As with all CRT modifications, extreme caution is required due to high voltages (20,000+ volts) that persist even when unplugged
