Description
The JVC AV-20120 is a 20-inch consumer CRT television released in 1999 in a black cabinet. It features a full square dark tinted picture tube, MTS stereo with dBx and SAP, JVC's Hyper Scan high-speed channel changer, Super Command scrolling menu OSD (English, French, Spanish), a single front AV input, a variable audio output, and a front headphone jack.
Additional features include Black Level Expansion, Apacon picture processing, V-Chip parental controls, closed captioning with text, Game Mode, Video Status (Standard/Choice/Game), a multi-function timer, sleep timer, Channel Guard, XDS auto clock set, and a Super Command universal remote control with TV/VCR button. Audio output is 1.0W × 2 from front-firing bottom speakers. The set is Energy Star compliant.
The AV-20120 is the black cabinet variant; the JVC AV-20121 is the white cabinet version with identical specifications.
