Overview
The JVC AV-32D202 is a 32" consumer CRT television released in 2001 as part of JVC's D-Series line. This middle-era D-Series model uses the GE chassis with the Toshiba TB1253AN jungle IC.
The AV-32D202 features component video input, making it a desirable option for retro gaming. It shares the same chassis and tube options as other 2001 32" D-Series models.
Tube Identification
The tube brand can be identified by the letter beside the serial number on the model tag:
- R - RCA/Thomson (A80AEJ10X or A80AEJ15X)
- H - Hitachi (A80LJF30X)
- M - Matsushita/Panasonic (M80JUA061X)
The Hitachi and Panasonic tubes are generally preferred by enthusiasts.
