The JVC AV-27F485 is a 27" flat-screen CRT television from JVC's I'Art series, released in 2004. It features a Real Flat picture tube with INVAR shadow mask, a 3-line digital comb filter, and BBE High Definition Audio. It shares a user manual and chassis design with the JVC AV-27F475, JVC AV-32F485, JVC AV-32F475, and JVC AV-36F475.
The primary distinction of the F485 over the JVC AV-27F475 is the inclusion of A.H.S. (Advanced Hyper Surround) sound, which adds a more spacious surround sound effect with Music and Movie presets. The F475 models include only standard Hyper Surround. The F485 also features higher-powered speakers (9W × 2 vs. 7.5W × 2 on the F475). A later model in the same I'Art 27" lineup, the JVC AV-27F476, uses the updated GJ5 chassis but retains the same input complement.
The input complement includes one component video input, one S-Video input, and three composite AV inputs (two rear, one front), plus a fixed stereo audio output. The TV supports five video status modes (Standard, TheaterPro, Theater, Dynamic, and Game) and 16:9 raster compression mode for anamorphic DVD playback.
The AV-27F485 is compatible with the JVC RKC27DF4S and JVC RK-C27DF6U TV stands.
