Magnavox CD130MW8
1×RF (RF (F-type), Mono audio)
1×Composite (CVBS) (RCA (connector), Mono audio via RCA (connector))
The Magnavox CD130MW8 is a 13-inch television with a built-in DVD player and a dual ATSC/NTSC tuner, placing it among the late CRT sets built after the US digital transition requirements took effect.[1]
The tuner covers terrestrial VHF channels 2–13 and UHF 14–69 plus a full cable channel map, using a channel-frequency-synthesized tuning system with direct keyboard access, programmable scan and up/down tuning.[1] Closed captioning is supported in both the digital (FCC §15.122) and analog (FCC §15.119) forms.[1]
Sound output is 1 W into a single 8-ohm speaker. The set measures 353 × 330 × 377 mm (W × H × D), weighs 9.0 kg and consumes a maximum of 70 W from a 120 V AC ±10%, 60 Hz ±0.5% supply.[1]
Features
The DVD section plays DVD Video, DVD-RW/-R, DVD+RW/+R, audio CD and CD-RW/-R. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz for linear-sound DVD at a 48 kHz sample rate, extending to 20 Hz–44 kHz at 96 kHz, and 20 Hz to 20 kHz for CD. Signal-to-noise ratio on CD is 75 dB (JEITA) and total distortion 0.07% at 1 kHz for both DVD and CD.[1]
Connections are modest: a 75-ohm unbalanced F-type antenna input, one RCA composite video input at 1 Vp-p into 75 ohms with a single RCA audio input at 2 V RMS into more than 22 kilohms, a coaxial digital audio output on RCA, and a 3.5 mm earphone jack delivering 500 mVp-p into 75 ohms.[1] The remote control uses a digitally encoded infrared system.[1]
