Sony KV-13TR29

The Sony KV-13TR29 is a 13-inch Hi-Black Trinitron colour television for the North American market on Sony's BA-71 chassis platform. It is the sibling of the KV-13TR28 — the two are covered by a single service manual, share every board and every published specification, and differ only in chassis number: SCC-F78E-A for US KV-13TR29 sets against SCC-F78D-A for the KV-13TR28, with SCC-F79D-A and SCC-F79C-A the respective Canadian numbers.^[1]

The picture measures 13 inches diagonally on a 14-inch Hi-Black Trinitron tube, and the tuner covers VHF 2–13, UHF 14–69 and cable channels 1–125 through a 75-ohm antenna terminal.^[1] Audio is mono: one 80 mm full-range driver rated 1 W into 16 ohms, with a 50 Hz – 20 kHz response.^[1]

The set draws 85 W in use and 4 W in standby from 120 V 60 Hz, measures 372 × 339 × 408 mm (w/h/d) and weighs 11.2 kg.^[1] A Remote Commander RM-Y116 was supplied.^[1]
