JVC AV-32F577
The JVC AV-32F577 is a 32-inch flat-screen CRT television released in 2006, one of the last CRT televisions manufactured by JVC. Despite its I'Art-style cabinet design, it lacks the I'Art branding. The set was manufactured in Mexico and represents a departure from the earlier curved and flat CRT lines. The tube uses an INVAR alloy slot mask for improved thermal stability and reduced doming.
A distinguishing feature is the built-in ATSC/QAM digital tuner with PSIP electronic program guide. However, this tuner converts all signals — including analog inputs — to 480i, which means 240p content from retro game consoles is not natively displayed and may introduce input lag. Game systems like the NES and SNES can also experience sync issues over composite due to non-standard refresh rates.
The AV-32F577 features a 3D Y/C digital comb filter, TheaterPro 6500K color temperature, and Dolby AC3 digital audio output. It shares its user manual with the AV-32MF47 and AV-32WF47.
Known Issues
