DMC (Dynamic Motion Control) slow-motion editing is possible when a DT-equipped VTR (such as the PVW-2650 or BVW-65/75) is used as the player. The RS-422 9-pin serial interface enables integration into professional editing systems.

The PVW-2800 features comprehensive video connectivity including component (both BNC and 12-pin DUB), composite, and S-Video inputs and outputs. An optional U-matic DUB output allows direct format transfer. The built-in TBC and timecode generator/reader make it a self-contained editing solution.
