Four audio channels are available: two longitudinal tracks with Dolby C noise reduction and two AFM tracks with wider frequency response (20 Hz to 20 kHz) and greater dynamic range.&lt;br /&gt;

Built-in editing facilities support insert and assemble editing with auto preview/review, audio split editing with independent in/out memories, frame-accurate trimming, and selectable pre-roll time. The deck can remotely control other RS-422-equipped VTRs as source machines. Two independent SC-H phase indicators are provided for composite input and output monitoring.&lt;br /&gt;

The BVW-70 provides both VITC and LTC timecode generation and reading in SMPTE standards with user bits. A built-in TBC with digital dropout compensation ensures broadcast-quality output. The BVW-70 is essentially the same as the BVW-75 but without Dynamic Tracking capability.&lt;br /&gt;
