The '''Gateway EV700''' is a 17-inch analog CRT computer monitor sold by Gateway in the late 1990s. Gateway quoted a 15.9-inch viewable diagonal on a high-contrast tube with 0.28 mm screen pitch, 90-degree deflection and both anti-static and anti-reflective coatings.<ref name="gw">[https://web.archive.org/web/20000523140345/http://www.gateway2000.com/mes/specs/EV_700_Video_Display.html EV700 Video Display specifications], Gateway 2000, archived 23 May 2000.</ref>

It is a multisync design covering 30–69 kHz horizontally and 50–110 Hz vertically with 80 MHz nominal video bandwidth, topping out at 1280 × 1024 at 60 Hz and meeting the VESA ergonomic targets of 800 × 600 and 1024 × 768 at 85 Hz.<ref name="gw" /> Video arrives on a 15-pin mini D-sub at 0.7 V peak-to-peak into 75 ohms; sync may be separate TTL horizontal and vertical, of either polarity, or TTL composite sync.<ref name="gw" />

The power supply selects 110 V or 220 V operation automatically and accepts 90–264 V AC.<ref name="gw" /> Controls are microprocessor-based with an on-screen display driven from the front panel — later production used a jog wheel for menu access.<ref name="crtdb">[https://crtdatabase.com/crts/gateway/gateway-ev700 Gateway EV700], CRT Database.</ref> Including the base the monitor measures 16.7 × 16.7 × 18.1 inches (W × H × D) and weighs 45.7 lb (20.4 kg).<ref name="gw" /> It carries UL, CSA, TUV/GS and DHHS safety approvals and meets FCC Class B, MPR II and CE emission limits, plus EPA Energy Star guidelines.<ref name="gw" />

CRT Database records the picture tube as a Toshiba M41LRK107XX with a shadow mask, and notes the monitor was built by Lite-On.<ref name="crtdb" /> Degaussing runs automatically at power-on and can also be triggered manually.<ref name="crtdb" />
